Oh Shazzles, not the news you wanted but all is not lost, as Cat 1 says virtually identical happened to her. Hopefully, it will turn out right in the end. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

It is a well known fact that HSBC have a 40p in the £ hurdle rate, so I am suprised that the case was put forward on the basis of 22p, however maybe the bank will see the commercial sense of a settlement in your case rather than bankruptcy proceedings. Presumably DFD told you that there was a risk of rejection?

Hi Melanie
Well DFD did not warn me of a rejection, no. I called them again this afternoon and said to them that i had heard that HSBC had a 40p hurdle rate and they said that a few cases that they have had in the last few weeks had been accepted with a below the 40p hurdle rate so we will wait and see. I said to her that i would be willing to go to higher payments if needs be and she said that we will do that if the need arises..watch this space!quote]Originally posted by MelanieGiles

Well that is really interesting, seeing as I was talking to their voting representative just last week who assured me that the hurdle rate is still firmly in place - as you can see from your own experience.

I will very interested to learn the outcome of this, especially if they agree to accept your revised offer. Please keep us informed of developments.

I had the same issue with DFD and my biggest creditor saying no- DFD were super in getting them to change their minds, for me it meant I had to make a couple of extra payments .....hopefully they will be as good for you!

Hello all
Oh wow i thought i had lost my posts then i look and i have a brand new heading and a new reply, how did the heading happen??!?! Well i called DFD still no news as such but turns out that my newly adjourned meeting is now tommorrow at 12.15pm instead of Friday which is what i was originally told, wonder if that is a good omen? Lulu, thankyou so much for your reply, it makes me feel a bit lesser on edge. My head is in so many bits at the moment as you can all imagine, be right here for me guys and pray, please..
