OK I just read your full post. So you are waiting to hear if HSBC will accept an increased monthly payment OR same payment but over 72 months instead of 60. Have I got it right?

good morning all! Here i am! Yes thats right max. I am now offering them 33p in the £ rather than 22p

Hello [:D] well it looks like HSBC have accepted my offer!! The iva hasnt actually gone through yet as my ip has to complete the new paperwork with the new bits and pieces on it. She is calling me back later on to confirm. [:D]

Another shining example of why HSBC or their voting representatives really don't have 40p in the £ hurdle rates? Can you remind me which IP firm you are using?

Very pleased for you Shazzles - the downside for you is that you have to pay an additional year's contributions, but I imagine that you are happy with the result. And this is good precedent for all other IPs out there to not be afraid of putting forward offers of a lower amount - although I always felt that you had little hope at 22p in the £.
