I've just this minute insured with Hastings Direct afer a quote of over £800 with my incumbent insurer. Hastings quoted me £270 with no voluntary excess. I told them I had been recommended by a friend with an IVA - he did the credit check and it came back as fine. The guy I spoke with was very helpful. So I've reduced my monthy DD from £67 to £23..... I'm happy :)Off to sort home insurance next!

Just changed from Co-op to Swinton - only reason was because the Co-op seem to be pricing themselves out of the market.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

I use Bell Insurance (part of the Admiral group) and have been with them since before the start of my IVA.

Only had to use them once, just recently, when a BMW went into the back of my car that I had only bought a couple of weeks before. Luckily it was at low speed and his insurance was with Admiral so had no excess to pay and reclaim and the hire car was via Enterprise (they use debit cards) but even then did not have to pay anything and reclaim.
