Did you satisfy your IVA 8 years ago ?

Are any of your creditors who were included in your first IVA proposal now one of your creditors ?

There is no rule to say you cannot attempt a second IVA however it would have to be disclosed to your creditors.

Given it was 8 years ago i dont see a reason why they should reject but it would depend on your circumstances and the history surrounding how the debt accured.

There is nothing to stop you looking at an IVA if it is the appropriate solution to your situation.
I have come across an increasing number of "2nd IVA" scenarios and whilst they are quite rare I have found no difference in acceptance rates.

To connect to other threads that have been posted on the forum, it does show that it is possible to obtain credit after IVA.

There is no set limit on the number of times you can petition your own bankruptcy or propose an IVA but you will have to disclose your previous IVA to your IP.

Hi Ali G,

I dont see why you couldn't propose another IVA, as oliver has mentioned there is no set limit to how many IVA's you can go through.
