Hi and welcome to the forum.

Your IVA will actually have been with the sister company Blair Endersby. They are in the process of moving their portfolio across to Grant Thornton.

Unfortunately you will find it very hard to try and change as it involves a court appearance and will cost a lot of money.

What problems are you having? If you are struggling with your payments then give Grant Thornton a ring and ask for a review.

Hi richard & welcome to the forum,

Baines & Ernest deal with the Debt Management side of things & the sister company Blair Endersby deal with the IVA side of things.

Im am with Blair Endersby also & they are transferring all IVA clients to Grant Thornton whom comes Highly recommended on the forum

Can I ask how you feel you are struggling in your IVA?
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

I am currently in the process of submitting a f+f, just waiting for my copy of the report and a date.
Should I still be contacting B+E or now deal with Grant Thornton ??

I have not received any paperwork yet to confirm the switch in IP's

Give BE a ring in the first place, they should be able to tell you what is happening with the takeover.

Hi Jenstown

None of us have yet had it in writing, BE staff only found out last Friday.
At the moment a poster whom is only in the process of a proposal for an IVA with BE has been advised by them to continue to contact them.
I suggest you give them a call just to put your mind at rest, everything that has been put forward for your F&F will still stand, its just we will be having a new IP & company to run it.

I know its worrying, my 3rd review is due to be conducted Im sure we will all be fine & Grant Thornton come highly recommended on the forum.

Let us know how you get on Jenstown & good luck with your F&F x

Spoke to Blair Endersby again today as we are in middle of a review, my account manager said business as normal, I asked if it would be sorted or not before the review as it will have to go to creditors (no mortgage in final 5 months) she said she is just carrying on as normal, so how long it will last, or more to the point how long it will take for GT to take over is anybodies guess, but they are doing a lot of legwork and taking alot of trouble and detail in my review if they are not even going to be sorting it. Given I have had no contact what so ever with them in 4 1/2 years.
ITS OVER WE ARE FINALLY DEBT FREE, CERTIFICATE ARRIVED

Hi vinnie, im sure everything is in hand & they are still working towards everyone's IVAs as normal, everything that has been done & agreed in your IVA will be adhered to by Grant Thornton. Whom come highly recommended by they forum.
I know it's an uneasy time, I'm with BE too, but very confident we will all be in goods hands with Grant Thornton.
Let us know how you get on& please don't hesitate to ask any questions.

I'm sure that everyone involved in the takeover will be informed as soon as possible. It will be unsettling but at least you know that your IVA will continue as it always has - just with a different company!

Your IVAs are legally binding arrangement so the detail cannot be changed due to it moving over to another company. The team at GT will ensure you have a smooth transition and once you get used to your new contacts everything should carry on as normal.
