Can I my first review manually as I do not like the idea of a 3rd party accessing all my bank details (even if it is a one off - then the information is 'deleted')

I assume that you are with CF --- they are currently trying to bully clients into acccepting 3rd party access and, unless you specifically agreed to this when you signed up, they cannot force this on you. To date many clients have refused and CF have then conducted the reviews the usual way, with hard copies supplied.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Agree with Foggy - don't get bullied into doing something you're not happy with.

Hi Foggy,

Thank you for your reply yes I am with CF, if you don't mind I have a few questions:
1) I have recently had a debt (ex-friend) that popped up out of the blue (due to a falling out) they now want me to pay back what was agreed back then as a helping hand don't worry about it. - not stated on the IVA
2) which means I need to find a new job to pay more. - how would this work, can I add this on the IVA? because it is not a company it was from a friend.
3) when doing the annual review - will they do a credit check?

You could add the debt to the IVA, depending on the figures, as long as leaving it out at first was a genuine mistake. However it could see the IVA being failed for non-disclosure or if the "new" debt throws out the dividend too much. If it was added on and creditors agree, your friend would only be allowed to be repaid the pence in the pound dividend that the others are getting. It would depend on the IP whether he / she would be willing to accept the debt as genuine. If your new job pays more your IVA payment will increase by at least half of the increase in income.
They do not generally do a credit check at review.

Yes you can.

Had my review a week or so ago from CF asking for access to statements. I replied with an email explaining i didn't feel comfortable with this and was never mentioned during sign up process. Called me few days later explaining to me how the process is regulated and agreed with my creditors. But stick to your guns and they will back down, email 5 mins after phone call asking for 3 months wage slips, bank statements and my latest P60.

If nothing has changed and you can live reasonably just stick with your original I/E numbers . CF took around 5 days to tell me review was complete and no change to my contribution.

Stick to your guns! - you need to tell them you are only interested in paper reviews.
