As I am aged 66, can I still apply for an IVA? I am in receipt of a State Pension and an occupational pension. Does the fact that I'm retired disqualify from that scheme?

I think the maximum age is 60. What is your situation?? You might be better off going Bankrupt unless this is not really an option

There is no ageism in the IVA world, but we do have to be realistic. If you have a regular income and can afford to make payments from your disposable income there is no reason why you should not apply for an IVA, but make sure you fully explore the other options - particularly bankruptcy as this may be quicker and more final for you.
