No reason why not ---- affording it, though, might be another matter.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Sun are doing their cheap holidays at the moment so you could consider that..

If you are thinking of going abroad, loads of cheap Ryanair flights (sometimes good luggage offers too for city breaks), budget hotels, it's probably more affordable than ever to have a low cost holiday while in an IVA, however, I'd check transfer prices (airport to hotel and back) easy to find on Google and everyone wants your custom. Then it begs the question home or away?
Trains are cheaper booked 12 weeks in advance if you decide to leave the car, comparison websites for the best hotels and we have some great places in the UK, Wales, Scotland and the lake district are all amazing.
I must admit I didn't travel much while in my IVA but you can always do what I did, make a bucket list for post IVA.
IVA complete March 2014 after 6 years.

I managed a couple of holidays abroad whilst in my IVA. Don't think I'd want the cheap ones now as all the extras cost more than a cheap package either here or abroad.
