I thought of rejoining th Terretorial Army because i'm allowed to work the hours needed. I am a Professional driver and governed by the EU under there new RTD (Road Transport Directive). Anyway, the bankruptcy law mentions working for the armed forces?. Its because i cant work the hours that i used to (because of the RTD) that i would consider going back into the TA because the RTD classes this work as the same as charity work? Can i work for the TA once bankrupted. I would thought that this would help pay creditors??

Hi mattl

There will be no problem in rejoining the TA if you are in an IVA. You will need to check with your unit whether there is a problem with bankruptcy. This will largely depend upon the type of job you will be doing in the TA, and the level of security clearance you require.
