would myself and my husbands individual debts be able to be combined for a joint IVA? along with our joint debts? i.e. personal loans (individual) overdraft (joint) individual credit cards, catalogues?

Hi dbf

Yes you can but it is not actually a joint one but two that run side by side, but with only one monthly payment. We have one like this and though only three months into it all seems to be going well. It would be best to speak to sevral companys (the ones that post on this site might be a good start ) dont go for any that want up front payments unless they will give it all back if not approved. First you have to make sure that you are insolvent. Do this by adding all your expenditure and household living and if they come to more than you have coming in they you would be classed as insolvent. I am not a technical expert just someone like you and if you are patient others will answer also.

Hope this helps a bit

PS

Steer clear of a comany called Synergi. They have very bad results and have caused problems for many on this site if you read some of the previous posts.
