Please forward your mum's customer reference, and contact details, to the below email address, and I will review your file, and arrange for someone to contact you.
Will, do and thank you for contacting me. I have sent an e mail to Grant Thornton telling him that my Mum today is instructing her bank to pay no direct debit until a full financial assessment has been done to review affordability.
My e mail address is *email removed* (I was handling the iva for my parents before Dad died - it will be on record at Blair.
Karen
*sorry kat, you can't put your email in your posts, you're likely to get hit with loads of spam if you do!*
I just tried to send it and it failed (twice)
Have to go to work now.
Sorry about posting my e mail address guys - didnt realise - can I post my dads name so that this person can look at the file at Blair Endersby
I do hope this is sorted and that BE's intervention will make this a speedy process to avoid any further distress to what you and your Mum have already experienced.
Keep your eye on the bank too.
Ginger it's not sad, I do the same, I'm obsessed with the bank account and have a spreadsheet that is a replica of it! Maybe over cautious but I've learnt a very valuable lesson in life with this IVA x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
I have been keeping a spreadsheet since I realised that I was insolvent and had to get things under control.
It now goes up to 2021, and accounts for annual increases in all regular bills, shows me when I can go on holiday, and during the IVA it helped me to keep my account in credit.
I would recommend it to everyone, it has given me a sense of financial freedom which I did not have when I spent like crazy, had credit cards in double figures and could not say where most of my money was going.
I just use my online banking and know every month what I have left.
Sunnykat - hope you get this sorted out.

I don't want to get my hopes up ginger but yes it did. We had to go into an IVA because we lost our business. We brought a pub on lease. We had the flooding in Gloucestershire and the same month, Dad had a major stroke (he was business partner too).
The lady said that she would hopefully get Dads debts from the business cleared and Mum just have to pay hers (which is only one - it was a personal loan to try and help us hold on to the business)
I will keep you all posted
Kat
