can my husband get hp without affecting the iva?

hi im currently in an iva,i was just wondering if my husbands credit rating would be affected by this as in the iva he is adding to the household income,bascially can my husband get hp with it not affecting the iva???are washing machine has broken my mum said if we can get one on hp she would give us the money each week/month

not sure what about renting can you do this in an iva?? as you are not buying it so its not hp ,could i take it out of my weekly shopping buget 2.99 a week??

I think you have to talk to your IP first and see if he would allow it.

One way might be to allow you a payment holiday for one month in order for you to get one!

Good advice Ray - and then IVA contributions could then be increased in each month thereby dealing with the arrears. If I were the IP in this case, this would be more than acceptable to me.
