Hi maria and welcome to the forum

I am sure that you and your partner will be able to find a mortgage, but it may be better to choose a broker who specialises in the adverse credit marketplace.

Hi maria and welcome.

Your partners IVA will be on his credit file for 6 years from the day of acceptance.
He may be able to get a mortgage but could be subject to higher interest rates.

Maybe it would be better to put the property in your sole name untill the IVA drops off your partners file??
