Can some one possibly give me some advice what is the worse case of bankruptcy restrictions they can put on me from being a discharged bankrupt 4 years ago. Only item really bought was a tv year ago now
If you are a discharged bankrupt there are no restrictions placed on you. Your credit file will be impaired for up to six years and this will hamper the availability of credit. However, as you have managed to buy a TV presumably on HP your credit rating is well on the way to recovery.
You can still be discharged but have the restrictions contained within a Bankruptcy Restrictions Undertaking or Order, but this has to be in place before you are discharged - so if you did not have one in the first year, there are none!
