Money_Help, sorry you're having to go through this. I suggest you give Melanie a call as I'm pretty sure that she does understand the criteria that NR look for. Worth a try, advice is free. X

I echo Viki's words - give Melanie and her team a call. They are highly recommended, and she has had a large amount of NR IVA's approved.

Vikki & Jan. Thanks for your advice. I will certainly be speaking to Melanie's team tomorrow. I cant beleive the lack of support at such a difficult time from my current IP team. Its almost as if they took the money and washed their hands of us. Thanks again.

Hi Melanie. Just wanted to say thanks for your advice so far. I have left our details on your website and I am hopeful that you will be able to support us. I cant beleive how stressful this whole process has been and how long we have been struggling for. Its the interest payments that get you in the end, using one card to pay off another. I really hope we get on the road to paying back our creitors before the collectors start knocking. Thanks again

Nothing - I'm just highlighting this as an option that is available to you to try. If I were presenting this case, I would have got prior approval or rejection from Northern Rock before calling a meeting of creditors.

Good luck Money Help, you've gone to the right place now.... in two and a half years I've never seen anything other than high praise for Melanie and her team.... certainly helped me more than once on this journey, and sadly I'm not even her customer.

Best wishes

Martin

Your meeting may be with my colleague Melanie Nicholas rather than myself - confusing I know with two Melanies in the camp! Could you ring through to ask if the meeting can be changed please, as I am not in the office today but working from home.

Hi guys, just got home from work. Thanks for the messages of encouragement so far, they have been great to read. My wife and I really thought the failed IVA was the last hope we had. Im so glad I found the website and the wealth of experience and support available. Thanks. MAT
