Hi All
Firstly there was, and will never be, any breach of confidentaility. Matt disclosed his IVA had failed and I was merely correcting him on the contention that it was because he had moved, I did not disclose why the IVA had failed.
I have no intention of checking if every query is from a BE client, in this case I am aware of the issues, which are not usual and on which I had taken specific advice, and was able to respond. I have posted on queries that are not from clients and if I feel my input is valid I will offer it.

Matt, I think a lot of people on here have named their company, I know I have.

Don't think it's a problem.

Hope you get everything sorted out.

Matt

If you wish to represent another IVA, please be advised that as a serving British soldier you can do this via the High Court. I have done this many times in my career.

Matt, maybe you could call Melanie, she seems to know what she's talking about regarding this. Just an idea...

As I have now stated several times on this forum, British soldiers have domiciliary rights attached to the UK wherever they are serving or living in the world. I would therefore have no difficulty in proposing an IVA on this basis, and if your current advisor is not prepared to then that is their prerogative and I suggest that you go elsewhere.

Well said Melanie.

Matt ... I don't think we were miffed with you naming your IP company, I have named McCambridge Duffy on many occasions.

What I, and I think others, were miffed about was your IP openly recognising you as their client on this Forum and discussing your case.

I still believe BE acted unprofessionally in doing so ... unless you had specifically addressed your post to them ... e.g some of Melanie's clients will entitle their post "A message for Melanie".

Please phone Melanie who will look after you ... and I wish you all the very best in doing so. Please let us know how you get on.

Debbie
