You should have a P60 from each job you do as far as I am aware.

I kind of see both sides on this one, of course an IVA has to be an arrangement built on trust and anything relevant should be communicated to your IP as a first resort. The duty of the IP is then to give honest, helpful advice and to do everything to find a mutually acceptable solution to any problems that arise throughout the lifetime of an IVA.
But having said that, how often do we see on here the sheer frustrations of people who have tried and tried to communicate with their IP's and have been pushed from pillar to post, have been told things that seem dubious to say the least and have not been given the help they need right at the time when they are least mentally and emotionally able to make sound decisions themselves?
Those who have Melanie and some others are exempt from this as Melanie clearly is there with you every step of the way, but not all IVA's and IP's are like this and I feel for some of the people who are signed up with IVA factories (sometimes not even the company they signed up with) who are really struggling because they can't get the right person to listen to them, or in some cases they can't even get to the very person whose job it is to help them. In those circumstances I can understand Orange's point..there may be consequences if they get found out, but the short term need may overide the long term risk on occasions.
All that said, it's early days for me and I am with a large IVA company, but I'm now relatively happy with them...ironically thanks to Melanie's advice!

I'm with a large firm but never think of hiding anything from them - be too worried about the consequences.
I may have a little moan about my IP at times when I have a few little niggles with them, but on the whole they have been very supportive and I'd hate to let them down when they've given me a second chance.
