Just to be on the safe side....

It's not an offence for you to be a director. However, the articles of the company (to be technical the standard table A) are likely to contain a provision that a director is removed if he/she goes into an IVA. Dead easy to fix for a privately owned company by holding an EGM. Might not apply to you but worth checking.
