Hi can you help me about this question while you are on DMP you can speak to another company to find out whether there services are better than the existing one?
A debt management plan is a totally informal agreement. As such you are not legally bound to stay with any debt management company and you can change if you wish. As such, you can speak to other companies to see if you can get a better deal elsewhere.
Bear in mind that if you do decide to change you should look for a company who will take you on without a further instruction fee charge. Otherwise you will end up missing payments and any creditors who have already frozen interest might start charging it again.
We were on a DMP and decided to change to a non fee paying one who actually suggested an IVA.
Visit www.iva.com and you will find some companies on there who will advise as to whether or not they can offer a better service.
