I don't know about macho man Jan, these days I'm more like nacho man [:D], twenty years of home cooking has sculpted me into the peak of physical conditioning, well, I have a peak!
My body used to ripple with muscles, now it just ripples [;)]

Yes female PTIs were always worse than men! Seemed to always have something to prove to their male counterparts!
It wasn't Kelly Holmes was it!!!
I remember a female PTI trying to teach us gymnastics!! There were arms and legs flying everywhere as lads vaulted over the horse landing on their necks and all sorts. About 75% of us went sick the following morning with sore necks and backs,we never ever did gymnastics again!!![:D]
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.

I can remember a female PTI taking a male group of recruits for step aerobics!! I can remember them being absolutely bushed after 15 minutes, and the lack of co-ordination was hilarious!

Hi have now been in the army for 6 months and never looked back. i'm just starting to do my annual review and i'm struggling a bit because obviously I dont pay council tax etc but my travel costs are quite high because I come home on weekends. I only pay 217 a month at the moment i have no problem with payng more but obviously i need some money left for me. I got a spreadsheet off this site last year and it told you how much you allowed for clothes etc but I cant find it can anyone help me....
Hi Chris. It would probably be a good idea to have a chat with your case manager who can help with the income and expenditure. Make sure you claim for all expenses such as kit insurance, mess bill and if appropriate the likes of regimental dinners.
Creditors are generally sympathetic to members of the Armed Forces and often sanction additional expenditure not normally allowed by the general population so make sure and claim these allowances and at least there will be something for you as well as your creditors.
And don't forget the surplus kit that you will require to purchase yourself - just to ensure you are fully equipped to fight. A very sad but true sign of dwindling defence budgets.
