Can you take an iva as a couple ?

a married couple do you both have to be involved in the iva agreement or can just one partner take an iva on there name without affected the other?
Can u take an iva as a couple

Actually the answer to that is no - as if only one of you has debt then the other party may need an IVA but you do not. Or if one party only has a few debts, which they could manage from their own disposable income, then they also would not need to propose an IVA either.
