My nan just called to tell me that my "aunty" I still call her aunty shes about 8 years older than me, her and my uncle are now divorced but we all still see her loads get her discount off clarks shoes lol. She won the lotto on Saturday £800k all together but she has to split it with her sister so has gone to get cheque today her share being £400k.

I just cant believe the luck of some people. My nan knows nothing about our probs just my mom.

I am glad its happened to her thou as she deserves it as my uncle did treat her badly but she came out the other side. (I bet he's kicking himself now lol)[:D]

Great to hear good news for a change...

I dont think so somehow. My nan and grandad have helped her out like you wouldnt believe with the kids they have the one every saturday nite to stayover, she goes there every sunday for lunch. She hasnt mentioned the fact that she may give them anything and its their 50th wedding anniversary at the end of the month. I would like to think she would "treat" them but they would still do everything they do anyway even if she didnt think about them.

nice thought thou.

I won the Euro lottery on Friday, went to pick up my winnings today.....All £8.30 of it......[8D]
It must be great winning that amount, although it's not millions I reckon it could still be life changing.
xx
It's nice to be back......

Why not approach them, be honest, pay your debts off and then pay them back.......they can certainly afford an interest free loan now to ensure you pay it back, but life would be so much easier on you if you did it!

actually just been reading thru my proposal, i cant find anything but i remember hearing my IP say that there couldnt be any changes within the first 24 months. the amount that is payable over 60 months is £5400 in fees and £10500 for creditors totalling up to £15900 i made my first IVA payment on 1 may 2008 would this be something they would look at and if so what would be a reasonable F&F. Thanks.

The hard part would be approaching my aunty and telling her the ins and outs etc.

thanks lulu. it does make sense. I have asked mel what would be a fair offer, £13k seems to be on the mark - watch this space.
