I have moved several times in the last 7-8 years due to unforscene circumstances and have lost track of who I owe monies to. I do know of the largest debt I owe but am currently not paying this as cannot afford the repayments and struggle with money as it is.

I have now recieved a debt collection letter so am looking into an IVA for help but as it states I need to list all my creditors and I'm not sure what to do as I can't remember exactly who I still owe money to or if I still owe them or not. How can I find out and how long will it take for me to arrange and IVA as I currently cannot afford to release any money until the end of the month and when I do it can only be minimal. Am in desperate need of some help and am so worried as I don't know what to do and don't have anyone who can help me out but feel I need to stop runnung away from the situation.

Hasn't the IP acting for you given you any guidance on dealing with this, of the timescale of the process he/she is working on for you?
