Hi geezers,
I haven't been on here much over the last week .. mostly because a nice lady ran into the back of my car..[:(]
Me and daughter are ok, just a wee bit of a sore neck, but my 'ol car has an bust rear bumber, and dented hatch.. oh joy !
I have to get it assessed tomorrow and I suspect that they will write it off - its worth about £1400 .
The OR made it excempt but if I get another one I guess I'll have to let the OR know and go thru the process again.. rats !

Question - dunno if any one will be able to answer this one, I have been assessed and have an IPA of £80 pm, if I save up and buy something worth say £400 does that then become an asset and do I have to tell the OR ? Yep Im thinking motorbike ... since the OR took my L reg bike Im desparate to get on 2 wheels again .

Any thoughts ?

no mish you don't what you acquire after BR has nothing to do with the OR unless it is really a lot of money, the same goes with the car, he only has to prove you had hidden money which in your case is not the case, i wouldn't worry, so no you will not have to go through the process again. what you save up for and buy now after BR has nothing to do with him, only assets prior to BR, now if you were to win the lottery thats a different matter or come in to loads of money, good luck in saving
