hi
ive just done my 1st car boot sale, this will be the 1st of many i expect. i cant believe that i made £150 after float and fees. am feeling very nervous at the moment as my creditors meeting is on the 25th. i have missed my 1st payments this month and wondered why i didnt have any spare money. it just brought home how much i have been relying on my credit cards just to buy food for my family. it is scary really and i am just glad that i had the courage to go for an iva as i dread to think of what even bigger mess i would be in by now. cant wait for the 25th as hopefully i can start to sort my life out. thanks to everyone on here for their support and advice over the past few months.
Iva finished !

Good luck for your meeting c.j. Wow, £150. I have never been able to do a car boot sale cos I work on a Sunday but that will no longer be the case soon......what sorts of prices can you put on things or do you just let buyers offer what they want? I really want to do one soon. X

we had loads of old unwanted stuff in the loft and sold most of it for a couple of pounds. it was agood morning out away from the kids as well and we didnt argue too much ha! ha! except when i wanted to buy some books for 20p each i dont know what happens when ou are going to go for an iva but you become very frugal with money and dont like spending anything. i dont even pay on my new electron card anymore i like to use cash now not plastic- a miracle.

I am getting like that too,I have a visa electron from the co op but prefer to hand over hard cash instead of a plastic card, means more to me.
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.
