I'll be on the lookout soon for quotes for home/buildings and car insurance, I always look about for the best quotes so hoping to save some money and don't forget to go through Quidco too as there can be some cash back incentives there too. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Good point Lesley! I kept mine going as couldn't do it any better. Same with the home insurance as we have made a couple of claima this year.

I usually shop around but last year my car insurance only went up by £3 so I couldn't be bothered with the hassle.

We never even shop around for home insurance - an ex BR living in a flood risk area isn't likely to have many options!

We have found First Direct to be cheapest for car insurance AND you can pay monthly. They will match your renewal price with your current insurer and then give you a 10% discount.

For buildings and contents insurance, Churchill worked out the best value and again they let you pay monthly.

We were with Aviva for everything but their renewal quotes were high and they would no longer allow us to pay monthly.

I'm with RSA and no problems with paying monthly.

Aviva for house insurance etc and not had a problem at the moment.

Pet insurance is with three different companies and no problems with taking it out.

I spotted that Maxdebt - and if you have managed to get yourself a better deal on insurance then I salute you, and hope you enjoy spending the few pounds that you are saving along the way. I am sure that there is a ready home for those pennies!!
