just wanted to moan a bit really and this is the only place I can do it so thanks for the opportunity to vent!

Asked for online insurance quotes today and had some really competitive quotes back - non of which would allow me to pay monthly Haven't got the money to pay upfront so have ended up paying almost £10 more per month for the same standard of cover!

Sometimes it's really hard in an IVA and the extra £10 a month might not sound like like a lot to some but it is to me!!!! It shall grate on my nerves each month I see the direct debit leave the bank! I keep thinking that we're so nearly half way but sometimes it just seems so long[:(]

Try LV .... I only pay £15 pm on a 2007 Skoda Fabia ... good value methinks!

I'm about the same for my Fabia (2001) with Direct line ... no probs paying monthly, but they probably don't know about the IVA, I have renewed while in my IVA, but I don't know if they credit check every time.

We've both renewed twice in the IVA - both times with different companies so never thought it would be a problem. Still paying £15 a month less than the renewal came through at so I guess I should be thinking that way about it!

I'm with LV and find them competitive, just put daughter on insurance and she only passed her test on Tuesday and it's not too bad an increase would have been a lot more if she had her own car. x

if you have not renewed yet, find best offer on line.
Then send it to the company you are with. I bet they will lower there to near the other offer.
Just done that myself today, from £390 down to £320.
done for get to look at what is coved.
if you drive other car make sure that is coved.
(I do if my car is off road for repairs)
