My car is on it's last legs and it is necessary for work due to me being a shift worker and no public transport available at certain times of my shift patterns i.e 3am! Anyway I am also on the final run of my IVA just 10 payments to go until completed. I have seen in the past that there have been a couple of Car financers recommended on the site, I know one of them is Dunctons, can anyone tell me what the others are?

Rather than commit to a potentially expensive HP agreement you could possibly ask for a payment break to allow you to buy a runaround. The missed payments could be added to the end and not long afterwards your credit file would have cleared up and you could get a decent vehicle from a mainstream HP company.

Alternatively, it may be possible to get a friend or relative to get an agreement in their name and you could pay it. You would need sanction from your IP but a mechanic's report may be enough.
