I'm just glad my car is older than 2001 so is assesed under the old tax rules otherwise i'd be looking at nearly £100 a year hike in tax. If I could afford a new cleaner enviro friendly car I'd buy one, but impossible whilst in an IVA.

Mine's going to be £145, it's only a 1.4 clio!!! Last car, financed so it had to go, was a 1.9TDi and was only £115.... and the insurance was cheaper and I got more MPG!!!! Makes you wonder doesn't it???
It's nice to be back......

Angela

This needs to be taken into account when you are finalising your IVA proposal. Make sure you let Hywel know tomorrow.

I think that it's a bout time they abolished the road fund licence and hiked it onto the petrol ... which would seem a fairer way of collecting the tax so that drivers who use the roads more pay more tax [:(]

I might hate my Vauxhall Corsa with a passion, but at least the road tax is only £120 a year!
