I have a TV on a catalogue account with Freemans. There is about £500 oweing on it (the item was buy now, pay in 25years time sort of deal). Would Freemans expect the TV back as it isn't paid for, or do they wash their hands of it?

Nowadays I would think that it is very rare to have TV's and other appliances on HP as eventhough it is secured, it wouldn't be worth the providers while to come and take it as the re-sell value would not be worth it.

Besides, even if they did, it's been used, so can't be resold as new anymore, so it wouldn't be worth their time and effort getting it back. I don't even have the box anymore.
