as far as I know you can either let it fail by defaulting 3 times and then maybe set up a dmp or offer a settlement figure. why is it causing problems and why do you think it was missold?

Hi Stuart and welcome to the forum. You can fail your IVA by missing 3 payments as Rockstarloz says, and then you can either go BR or into a DMP. Do you have any assets that would be at risk under BR proceedings? If you have a look at my blog I have posted about my BR experiences.

What sort of problems are you having with your IVA - are the repayments too high? Have you spoken to your IP to see if there's anything they can do to make things easier?

at present the repayments are far too high and as i'm getting married tomorrow, my partner and i are worried about how much her own wages an debts will be taken into account by the iva! i have written to my provider with a detailed change of circumstances and am awaiting a reply!

Hi Stuart ... just wanted to echo everyone else in wishing you a wonderful day tomorrow (I have just dried my eyes after watching the GMTV wedding!).

This is a life changing phase for you and your IP should arrange a new I&E for you to take account of this.

All the best

Debbie
