Well, as many know, my IVA was concluded with a F&F in July last year and I was given the usual 6 month timescale for the CC to be issued and was expecting it later this month, maybe February (which year ! [:D] ).

Yesterday I emailed the closures team at GT asking how things are going ... today (yes, within 24 hours) I had a reply, along with the pdf copies of my CC and Final Report, dated 10th January. Hard copies to follow.

I have to say that my IVA experience with GT has been all good (even closures). Due to personal circumstances the journey was neither smooth nor easy, but GT have been more than helpful and supportive thoughout, and Karol has been an absolute Angel.

I am still on the IR, but have used the feedback box to inform them of the CC being issued and will watch that space [:)]
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Great news and well done. We know from your posts that you've had a hard time personally so I hope it's onwards and upwards from now on.

Congratulations Foggy on getting the CC and wishing you all the best for the future. You always post helpful and balanced views so it is great to hear your experiences and how it is now finally over for you.

Thanks everybody ---- I am still hoping the hard copy CC will be delivered by a Girl's Marching Band or, maybe, Sandra Bullock, but I won't hold my breath :-)

At least I now, officially, owe nobody a penny (and long may it stay that way). And Little Foggy (Foglet?) and I can get on with re-building our lives together with that in mind.

I doubt there are that many single dads around who are totally debt free as well as able to run comfortably on a tight budget. Thanks to the "training" during the IVA, we now live within our means and, to all intents and purposes, comfortably (aided by the new mindset of recognising what we "need" over what we "want").

I'm sure it will be delivered Foggy but feel you'll be a bit deflated when I tell you it'll be a post person, male maybe female, however if I'm wrong do let me know and I'll ask Melanie why mine wasn't delivered by Mr Williams himself.

You're officially debt free you've come a long way and your life has changed dramatically but you and little Foggy have the future to look forward to with no money worries. congratulations and I'm very pleased to read that you have a positive experience with GT as I'm sure that will give others confidence in using them.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
