Does anyone know where to find the CCCS guidelines, I have trawled their website and can't find them anywhere.
I am due my 2nd year review soon and am finding my outgoings are going up considerably faster than my income, I have only had a basic 3% salary increase compared to a much higher increase in living costs.
I am interested to find out what the CCCS currently recommend as reasonable living costs because I am finding it increasingly difficult to make ends meet, I am seeing my already frugal standard of living being eroded on a monthly basis, if it continues at this rate it won't be long before I go under.
IVA COMPLETED ON THE 17th MARCH, FINAL I&E COMPLETED 26th APRIL, COMPLETION CERTIFICATE ARRIVED 2nd AUGUST
No way [:0] so a single person gets £130 per month to cover fuel and parking, yet a couple have the same £130 to split between them????
Thats us blown out of the water - Hubby uses £250 minimum on fuel alone!
Why isn't the price per couple just doubled up? Even that wouldn't cover the living costs but at least it would make sense....and what drycleaners do they use I'd like to know???
Furthermore, shouldn't our IP have gone through these guidelines with us at some point? Gosh I've gone off on one now - sorry Melanie [:D]
We don't use the fuel figures at all! No one can dictate how much is reasonsable for fuel - as each individual has different journeys depending on their circumstances.
Hi swans girl
I too am wondering if our IP even glanced at some of the guidelines when he drew up our I & E. I have now emailed Melanie for a copy so I can look in detail. I think it may make interesting reading, cos we have no allowance for dry cleaning, or other items previously mentioned in other posts. I only wish we had found this forum before entering IVA, cos we probably would not have jumped with the first company we came across.
Roadrunners
I'm with you on that one roadrunner..... hubby and I bothhave to wear suits for work so unfortunately we have to have these dry cleaned regularly....if we were single, we'd get £10 according to the guidlines, but as a couple we have to share the £10!
I have always put an allowance in with our food/household column on I&E...I think our IP just ignored our I&E in the past anyway.
Thanks for reading my blog, didn't send you to sleep then [:D]
The IP is on leave so we won't hear anything until at least next week. We're 19 months into IVA and the first year wasn't too bad, but this year has been tight to say the least. Without the reduction, we will not be able to continue the IVA.
