Anyone know the current allowances for food for a couple/additional adult? I know the 2011 cccs guidelines but believe someone said in a previous post that they had been updated at the end of 2012. Thanks.
They were updated last year, and the allowances for a couple range from £185 to £341 per month, with additional adults coming in between £63 and £132 per month
Whilst I have not been able to get hold of the 2012 guidelines, I suspect that the updates were minor alterations, and not necessarily to all allowances.
I reckon the 2011 guidelines are still a very useful indicator though, particularly if you have not budgeted for certain expenditure.
That said, if anyone knows where I can download the 2012 guidance, please advise.
My opinions are just that: Based on my experience and being a self-employed IVA customer.
I say although they're guidelines that's all they are, put down what you actally spend and discuss with your IP showing proof of expenditure where necessary if requested.
My one piece of advice make that income and expenditure form as realistic as possible.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
Hi, totally appreciate when children come home. My youngest is at Uni and hoping to come home for the summer to do some work in a local factory, the conversation with hubby tonight was we may have to take a minimal amount towards food from her.
I also respect the price of food as it rises every week I'm sure for all of us.

Food costs more each month i am sure they must take it into consideration ..I know the feeling about feeding extra mouths my grandkids come often so now i let them bake cakes and buns to fill them up..As i havnt been buying what i call goodies...£341 must be a bare minimum does that include cleaning stuff as well ?
It would include cleaning stuff. I still budget £110 a week for the 3 of us,up slightly from when we were insolvent, but what we get for that is reducing every month!!(that or the trolleys are getting bigger)
