sorry for the delay totally fogot id post on this subject (ive just trawled through my previous post on here ) .
anyhow at my annual review i did claim extemely close to £600 pm on housekeeping and this was accepted .
i did do a comprehensive breakdown of where that money was going and did produce reciepts as backup .
i would encourage anyone here not to sell themselves short at review time .
be honest but dont think you are doing yourself any favours by claiming low and struggling .

Always best to list what you spend and if necessary send evidence as you did f_d, you are proof it pays to claim for what you spend and not fit in with a budget.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I think it is their budget tool. It gives categories but not max figures. A bit of a health warning before you try it, not all categories are allowed in an iva (Xmas and holidays being the main bugbears).

basically, if you want to test the water --- enter an amount for a given category, them keep increasing it until the prompt says it thinks it's too high --- that way you will get an approximation of the max allowed. Academic exercise only though -- better to stick to actual spend as the creditors will only re-calculate it if you push your luck.

You should always put down what you spend. I know they don't like it being published as some people would claim for things they don't actually spend on.

I always have to put down the actual spend -- with my memory I'd forget I lied and get caught out at review :0)

Exactly! I've never claimed for anything I don't spend either although I do know that some people have been told to claim for things such as smoking even though they don't!
