Hi,

I have just received a CCJ, and it says to pay forthwith.

I am going to petition on the 28th Sept as I dont have the funds until then.

What happens to the CCJ when I apply on the 28th Sept, and is this too long to wait until I apply for BR? ie. Baliffs?/court action etc etc,

I am worried that the CCJ will still have to be paid regardless of BR.

Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks,

It is unlikely that the CCJ will be enforced during the timescale you refer to. I suggest that you contact the Court in which the CCJ has been granted and advise them of your future intentions with regard to bankruptcy proceedings.
