I think we should stay cool though and not panic. No one has had official clarification from Susan Wriglesworth yet.

Just the regular staff quoting some paragraph they've been told parrot fashion with their eyes closed and no application of common sense.

Let's not do anything drastic just push for official policy wording on it from the IP herself.

I think so too Hubert and I agree entirely about keeping it real. If we don't we do ourselves no favours and it becomes a "divided we fall" situation - maybe that is CF's modus operandi.

If we can be in touch with each other we can work together, help and support each other in a mature and adult way. Once we can tease out all of the issues we have as individuals, get them written down, and get official clarification of what SHOULD be happening by bringing it to the attention of the big guns who can demand action we can put a stop to all this inconsistency we are being fed.

There will be many unlucky people who don't access this forum who just do as they are told and don't realise that they have the power to question. These are people who also deserve to be treated with respect and, to be fair, probably even more so than us that have the guts to raise issues. How many people are now on the road to failing their IVAs because of CF I wonder? If I had not got the folk on here I would feel so isolated and beaten by now.

If we can as a group get clarity, reasonableness and a decent standard for EVERYONE and not just ourselves then we will have achieved something really worthwhile as well as making sure that we ourselves are treated more fairly.

I am on a mision :)

Great post, couldn't have put it better myself...
At least if there's a bit of organisation to our queries we might actually get some definitive answers.

I have known James Falla of Beat My Debt for 16 years and he is an expert in the debt business. Pity some others are not.

I do think CF have bitten off more than they can chew. They barely had a mention on here up until the PJG takeover.

I reckon they are used to taking on case-loads of disconnected IVA clients who have nobody to turn to and believe anything they say and sign whatever they are asked to and have no real idea what's going on.

I draw this conclusion from the untruthful information in our welcome letters (your creditors have already agreed these changes in principle), the big red bold email we all got telling us to switch over our standing orders quickly or face "creditor hassle". And the misleading information that "the creditors pay the fees" - which is at best a distortion of the truth.

Makes me want to say "hey, don't confuse insolvent with stupid!"

Problem is for them, PJG clients seem to be heavily in touch. Many of us found Mel on here in the first place.

I wish we could contact every one of the 900 or so clients and put them in touch with this forum. But I don't know any way that we can.

I feel for anyone alone in this. Many people run their IVAs in secret and can't ask friends for help etc...

Michael - based on recent events I would happily agree to authorising 23% if it were you getting me to the end of my Iva in 13 months.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
