Received my chairmans report this morning! It's all so official now!
Lloyds accepted (thank the lord). Egg rejected. Barclaycard Rejected. HFC Rejected and surprisingly the store card I held rejected too! Silly as I only had £40 outstanding on my balance!!
IP fees were altered and I have to provide proof that we are only paying minimum pension contribution and that's it![;)]
Just out of curiosity, does anybody know what category 2 disbursements are?!
The main thing is that the IVA went through - doesn't matter who voted what, they are all bound by it.
No idea about the disbursments though!

This is so true Jan. Lloyds were our main creditor and they were the only ones to accept everything! Strange really. I feel a little sad about this. I had banked with Lloyds since I was old enough to open an account.
Strange thing is that Lloyds voted no for me and I only owed just over £2k! I'd banked with them since they were Trustee Savings Bank in the Midlands. They'd not been my bank for a while but I do still have an account (if I could find the details!) I only had a credit card with them - you'd have thought I'd got the National Debt!

It is strange. It does make me wonder about the reasoning behind how they vote. Does it go purely on the proposal or do they look back at your history with them? Anyway, as you say, no matter, it went in our favour and that is the main thing.

I think disbursements are the costs incurred running your account e.g. photocopying, sending letters, paying court fees etc. Anything that isn't covered by the professional fees. I'm not sure about the categories though.
TSB Jan, now you're talking, that takes me back, i can still remember my dad escorting me into our local branch, he had to countersign my account application. The TSB. Reminds me of better times.

Exactly OT! They were my bank from when I was very small until my early 30's - of course they became just TSB then and eventually got taken over.

TSB used to set up a mobile bank in our school once a week. Didn't they have a little squirrel as their "mascot" (Like the Tufty club) or am I , as usual, getting confused?

Tufty was that little red squirrel that taught road safety -- but I think TSB had a similar mascot at the time. Or -- I could have been a member of both at the same time !!!!!
I remember having a week in France and saving up the grand sum of £10 spending money for it at the TSB ( came back with change to ... where did it all go wrong!!).
EDIT: Just googled TSB and discovered there were around 76 loosely associated TSB's in the early '70's, it didn't become a group until 1975. So my squirrel would have been a regional thing.

I honestly can't remember Foggy! I remember Tufty but that's all. I still have a plastic green savings bank thingy from TSB which could only be opened in the bank by a key. I have (pre decimalisation) money in there still!

Oh i remember going to open my first bank account summer of 76. At TSB local branch. With my dad, really excited about it as well. But still did not want to give them my money from my piggy bank. I remember saying to my dad, they have stolen my money and getting quite upset by it Lol.
