A precious and loving relationship is far more important than an IVA, and if you are unable to afford the payments any more bankruptcy is probably the best thing for you. Go into that Court with your head held high, because when you get home there will be a family waiting for you.

You can also try CAB as they helped me file for my BR over 10yrs ago and its free, i assume they still do this service.

They most certainly do - but with the recent cuts in their funding it could be a long wait. The forms are very simply and can be found on the Insolvency Service's website - and there is enough expertise freely available on this forum to deal with any queries.

Thx all,
I need to wait for the IVA to fail before I can petition my own bankruptcy, I will be visiting my local county court today to pick up a pack which will include all the relevant forms.

Once I have had a read through it will be question time.

Thx again for all the help so far.

IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
