Hello,
Long time reader first time poster!
We entered into an IVA in November 2006 however we started making payments to the IVA company in September 2006 pending the IVA being agreed. Over the period of the IVA we had 3 payment breaks, 2 covered by the early payments made prior to the IVA being agreed and the 3rd being covered by voluntary increase in monthly payments, all agreed with the IVA company. Our IVA is due to end in October this year and all the above was confirmed during annul reviews etc. Today we have contacted the IVA company reference what happens at the end of the IVA to now be told that it doesnt end until November, theres no trace of the September 2006 payment and there is still £1400 outstanding (this figure doesnt add up and would still be short) We have also been told that the IVA supervisor has left the company which now means we are on to our third one. Any advice would be much appreciated as we are now having grave concerns about were this is now going. many thanks.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Which company are you with? Did your company introduce you to an IP? If so then that payment could have been their fees.

Hello,
Wow that was quick!
We have been with W3 from the beginning we contactedthem directly and there was no other firms involved. On speaking to W3 last week they even stated our file was marked up to end in October, then they looked into it and came out with the new date and different figures. At present we are going to dispute this.
Many thanks

Hi,

I've not heard of W3. Do you know who your IP is? You might want to email him/her directly.

Contact your IVA Company and request that they send you a breakdown of all payments they have recorded in their records from you.

You can then check and see if it covers all of them including the ones you made prior to your IVA proposal being accepted.

Hello,
Thanks for the replies
We have asked for a full break down and have also sent letters to our previous bank who we were with when the IVA started for statements. As we are disputing the final payment but will be paying up to and including October what can happen?
Many Thanks

Email your IP directly via this link:

Explain your problems and ask for their assistance. You should find their name on your Chairmans report if you're not sure.

Many thanks for the link, I have now emailed our IP directly. The person who advised us about the changes on 31/08 wasnt even our IP?
Once again many thanks

It would probably have been one of the office staff who advised this.

Hope you get a reply soon.
