Changing IP

IS it possible to change to another company once you've started your IVA. I'm currently about half way through, but had a little problem at last review. Never received any correspondence from them, in spite of a few calls, ended up "making up" and I&E form from my copy of last years and sending it off with payslips. I stil have not received a copy of this years report (review was April/May).

I may be looking at a F&F offer shortly, but need to be confident in my IP which at the moment i'm not.

Hi Simon

This is a question which is frequently asked on the forum, and I am afraid the answer is not really. The only time IPs are replaced are generally if they leave the firm they work for, at which time it is usual for you to be transferred to another IP within the same firm.

Have you tried talking to or e-mailing your IP directly? If you tell us his name, we can find an e-mail address for you.

Hi Simon,

Unfortunately to change I.P firms is not as easy as it sounds, it is very difficult and you would probably need other reasons than your I.P's lack of communication.

As Melanie has already mentioned, maybe your situation could be helped if you ask to speak with your I.P directly.
