Our IVA was accepted in November 2006. However today I had a call from a respresentative of Moorcroft. I told her that I was in an IVA and that they should contact the IP. She said that they hadn't had any money and would continue to chase me until they did. I said that she had no rights now to call at my property or chase me in any form and she said that they did and would not deal with the IP. I don't beleive this is right, but can someone confirm.

Many thanks.

Hi Blossom
No if this is one of your creditors they should not be hassling you they should contact the IP they should know that money is not sent to them monthly quite often it is dished out yearly or at six monthly intervals. Contact your company and tell them to deal with it.#
All the best Ang

Hi blossom

Moorcroft are a debt collection agency and as a result of your IVA have probably been cut out of the loop, which would have been arranged directly with the creditor.

It might be an idea to contact the creditor concerned and get them called off.

Or better still get your IP to deal with this for you as they are being paid to do so. Get them to send Moorcroft a copy of your IVA proposal and Chairman's Report, with strict instructions not to contact you directly again.

Spot on advice from Aguise, you are legally protected from your creditors and G-4-B is correct in that Moorcroft have probably not been updated.Get your IP to chase this and make sure you get a response from your IP stating that it has been resolved.
