Well long time no see, hope everyone is doing ok, going to be a bit of a long one this.
We had a payments made to date offer accepted my our creditors accepted with modifications in June last year, the mods were relating to my back injury that essentially meant if I hadn't found another job by xmas 2014 then the iva would end. I couldn't find an alternative easier nursing position so instead reduced my hours in dec 2014 with my IP consent that this would still fulfil the obligations of the iva ending.
So, fast forward through this year where we have responded to all our IP's requests regarding final payslips. Credit reports, ppi investigations (there was none to claim) and have since been informed that everything has now been passed to Melanie for closure, this was around july time this year, and we have heard nothing since.
I have chased things up a couple of times since asking how things are going with closure, just to be met with, they will contact Melanie and find out, then I hear nothing again. I'm starting to get fed up now, it's 12 months since our iva 'finished' and we last made any payment, we asked eater this year if we could start overpaying on our mortgage as we were on interest only throughout the iva and were told we could as our house was no longer included in the iva, but I feel we're getting no further to closure
Anyone know how we can get this sorted out? Melanie was always such a good IP, but since we had the iva payments made to date accepted last christmas, we just feel forgotten and that it's never going to get closed off. We have asked if there are any other things outstanding but were told there wasn't so what's causing the hold up?
Have you emailed her direct? I had a reply just after the sale to Creditfix but not heard a peep since Mel said she would continue with ppi investigation, That was months ago now
Mel no longer posts on the forum but am sure will respond to emails once received. Maybe email her or write to her direct rather than through the caseworkers.
Good to hear from you Lem!

There is a solution for everyone .... Just need to stay positive !
I agree that she is very much missed on the forum and also agree that you should try and email her directly. Her company has a website - perhaps you should try any emails on there.

If this was via PJG it looks like that this is being phased out - new company is Jone, Giles and Clay by the looks of it.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
Just looked at it and you're right. I do know that one of the original partners of PJG is no longer with the company and it would be good if she could come back and post on here but I can't see it happening.
