Hi Guys. I am returning my cheque for my 1st IVA payment with proposal docs tomorrow. Meeting should be by the end of the month. Assuming it is accepted, would anyone have any idea when the next payment is likely to be due? Cheers Kazzy x

I am sure your provider will do their utmost to fit in with you and if, for example, you are paid on the last day of every month, then the logical step would be to look at a payment on the 1st of every month so that you can rest assured that the money is there.

Do speak further to your provider to confirm that though.

Regards.

We make ours on the 1st of the month as that is when my salary and his pension get paid in.

Barb, you and I should be finishing at the same time! We've just made our third payment.

If you pay your first payment in advance, you will then be able to choose which day of the following month that the second payment goes out to suit your budget and cashflow.

I always try to plan so that everything comes out a day or two after payday. That way whatever is left is yours to spend for the the rest of the month or to add to your contingency fund.
