Childcare proof

hi

I pay someone £150 a month for childcare but they are not a registered childminder, I have put this down on my budget statement but if I go into an IVA will I need to prove this - any help appreciated

Hi Locko.I'm 6 month into my IVA now and I did not have to 'prove' what I pay for childcare.Don't know If I'll have to at the annual review.To make matters more complicated my costs vary and are clearly more in summer hols etc.I need to have the full cost available in case I don't manage to do 'child swopping, take leave or my mums away.Hence, alot of my expenditure is for childcare.Cat

How do you pay the childminder? Surely you can evidence this from bank statements if your IP requires evidence of this? And is the childminder declaring this income for tax purposes?

Thanks Melaine but my childminder is a friend who I pay monthly and she is not a registered childminder
