What I find odd is people are happy to grab 'bargains' and put them on a credit card, but unless they pay it off in full when the bill comes, that bargain will end up costing more in accumulated interest than it would if they had probably bought it at full price.

Just goes to show Lem that there is a real lack of common sense out there!

Ah ... but half price and a years interest is better than full price and a years higher interest :-)

I did read somewhere that many people who pay for christmas on credit are still paying for last years while wracking up this years .... I know ... I probably did it too ......

I read the same thing somewhere, sad thing is you can see in that the thousands of people who are going down the same route as us yet at this moment are still in denial.

There'll be no raising cans for me from 1st Jan 2013. Going teetotal for the month for Cancer Research Dryahtlon. It is going to be hell!!!

An easy one for me as I'm teetotal. Hadn't heard of that it would appear there is something most months now. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
