Hi Everyone

Really enjoyable evening, thanks everyone who made it possible[:)]

Lovely to meet new faces, but sorry for not mingling more but I could not keep getting up and down as my back was killing me[:I]

Many thanks to Ang and Steve again for your hospitality and great sandwiches, and thanks to everyone else for the great company.

It has taken a while for my brain juice to get working today as I am really tired...LOL

I got home around 2pm, it was raining and horrible so I did not want to put my foot down too much.
Viki - hope you got home alright and had a good journey[:)]

I will post more thoughts on the talk when my brain juice starts to flow - not sure if I am on the inside world, outside world or another planet at the moment!!
Be positive & look after yourself, there are more important things in life than debts....

Best Wishes

What a great night [:)] Thanks to everyone who made it possible, the room looked lovely. It's always good to put faces to names and catch up with old friends.
Totally agree with Lily on the talk, it wasn't exactly festive. Given a choice I'd rather take my brain juice elsewhere! Something debt related like a question and answer session (without the camera) would have been more appropriate.
Emma I hope you mean 2am not 2pm or were you driving that slow [:D] I think another planet might apply [}:)]
I found out on checkout how I'd ended up with a big room, I had a family room booked in for 2 people! I made sure they reduced the price to a single though!
Glad you're feeling better Skippy, hopefully we'll make it to the same one next year.

Hi Emma, journey home was ok, didn't rain so only had to put up with hubby's usual road rage! Thanks for asking. It was lovely meeting you and I'm not disappointed that you didn't have blonde ringlets like in my dream![;)] DM, I didn't bring the chocolate fountain, I'll have to remember next time![8D]

hi everyone..we are just home as we stopped off at various childrens homes for coffee and catch up...really tired now....
to add my thanks to everyone..the tree and tables looked lovely...melanie and steve and andy did us proud with free bar and food etc....
it was fab to put names to faces and meet you all and chat to as many as possible
i agree with lily re talk...vicky who gave it was an excellent speaker and delivered it really well...without notes.!!...but i glazed out most of the time....
the hotel was good value for money altho i think we had the smallest room ever...we could sit on bedside and make the tea without moving...but it had everything we needed...all within arms reach...literally.!!!
ROADRUNNERS...please email me as i have something to send you..it was lovely to talk to you

I've already written on my blog about it, as we had such a good time and I wanted to share it.

MTL - did you make breakfast this morning? Didn't see you to say goodbye.

Hi again Guys

Had my grandson today and his mom and grandma, so not much chance to relax until now but really enjoyed seeing him, gets more beautiful every time I see him and of course I love him even more than the last time I saw him.

So really happy freelili right now.

I forgot to say to Ang and Steve, thanks for the hospitality too and thank you Emma for the lift there and the wonderful company, I know you were in a lot of pain hun. I do hope youre feeling better very soon.

Skip I am glad that youre feeling better.

Lots of love to everyone.

Hi Michelle,

Good to meet you last night, hopefully be the first FF of many!

It is wonderful to be able to talk to someone else other than your other half, and not to wonder who is listening to your conversation.

Don't forget to keep that good brain juice going!

Hi Jan, Kev thinks i've lost the plot as he caught me with the most stupid grin on my face [:D] when he asked wot on earth I was doing I couldn't resist telling him I was getting the good brain juice cos whilst I do this the ironing remains in the inside world and if I can't feel then I can't do it!(lol) - see I was paying attention really!
Don't know how you feel but now we have taken the plunge we can't wait for the next one. Look forward to seeing you and hubby in Manchester.
Michelle

I must apply that when I come to do the ironing![:D]

I think I have been on the inside world today - the outside one has passed me by!

Hopefully we will be at the one in Manchester. I don't think anything definite has been decided yet has it?

yeah jan...we got down there about 9.15am and had brekkies with trevor and alison so was lovely to have another wee time with them
and welcome to michelle.for first posting..you will be on here all the time now...!!!

its funny cos everyone i spoke to last night said the "talk" wasnt really appropriate for christmas theme ...yet we are all talking about the "brain juice" and the "inside world"...so it must have been a wee bit effective eh??
well i am taking my brain to bed and hoping the outside world will go away so the inside world can have a good nights sleep...love to all and cant wait to get dates for 2009 so i can hopefully prioritise them in new diary
