I think we're all being a bit sarcastic! [:D] It's given us a bit of a giggle today anyway.

We must have just missed you, as Trevor and Alison had just come down as we left the dining room.

Hi All,

Firstly many thanks again to Melanie and Steve for sponsering the evening, and to everyone else for all their hard work in organising another excellent evening.

I thought that the Slough meeting was brilliant, but this one surpassed it - everything was just right. Good friendly atmosphere, great location, great mix of people - and we've met some good friends who I'm sure will remain so for a very long time to come.

To anyone who's thinking of coming to one of these evenings, you won't regret it. Don't ever underestimate just how much of a relief it can be to open up and chat franky about our situations in a non judgemental envirnoment.

Trevor and Alison.

12 Payments in, 48 to go - or as I like to think, 20% of the way through!

Just to clarify MTL, what I meant was.

The talk was extremely well delivered and could be applied to anyone thinking negative thoughts about self worth, etc. We all know that good and bad things happen when we are releasing endophins or there is a depletion of serotonin.

Not for people that are really in a deep dark place of debt with no knowledge of how to get out of it, not even sure if they want to live as they are so exhausted through lack of sleep and the effort of keeping it all in.

I also think that since we had all broken the ice in the bar, gotten ourselves into our glad rags, to go into the christmas room and sit quietly and listen, not to mention the camera's were there, left everyone a little bit flat. We almost had to start over again.

Thanks MTL. I was just being honest, perhaps I should'nt have been?

I thought the speaker did really well and I would hate to think that someone thought I was trashing her, I wasnt and I wouldn't.

Obviously I wasn't there so I can't comment about the talk, but it's better to be honest Lily.

Thanks Skip

Just been a bit worried that I came across as being disrespectful and I wouldnt want to do that, yes I was trying to be very honest about things as I saw them and felt them.

We are all so individual and cant help our attitude and responses to certain situations and how we feel and not everyones brain works in the same way, especially in my house.
