I've actually got things sorted early for the children this year, as much as I think Christmas should be banned before December!

I've bought personalised cutlery for my godchildren for £2.49 a set and a pack of money wallets for 99p for 5. They can have the cutlery and a fiver each so that's easy!

Good for you Skippy! I shall be doing the money thing for my 3 nieces / nephews this year. They really enjoy going out and buying bargains after Xmas!

Dave's got grandchildren as well but they're down to him to sort out!

I've also got brilliant wrapping paper - it's got pictures of rabbits, rats, guinea pigs and hamsters in party hats on it!

How cute! I do buy silly little stocking filler things normally and we do a treasure hunt at Mums on Boxing Day where they have to solve clues. I;ve tried to tell them that at 15 and 12 maybe we should stop but they won't!! Maybe I'll do the clues in french this year to make it last a bit longer!!

I'm getting my Mother in Law some personalised stationery as she's forever writing letters including to us!

My mum will accept anything and if it's Jesus related she's happy!

No idea what I'm getting anyone else this year, not really had time to think as yet but I'll need to get a list started soon. Daughters 18th first though x

I went to Argos the other day and got a load of stuff for my little boy that was on his list that had money off, I notice yesterday when this 3 for 2 deal started that all those toys that had money off the other day are now back up to full price! however they are on the 3 for 2, luckily for me though it worked out cheaper when I bought them with money off than what I would have saved on the 3 for 2

I get my mum a magazine subscription and she's happy with that. Not a clue for my dad though.

As a joint present we give them money.

Clever marketing Lem! Glad you got yours at the bargain price though. A magazine subscription is a good present Jan, like that idea. Not for my Mum of course but for someone I have in mind. x

Glad you got some bargains lem. I've no idea what to get my mum so it'll probably the usual box of M & S biscuits and some smellies. She's got so much junk that I don't want to encourage her to have more!

Mum had this subscription last year to Yours magazine as she loves it so I will just renew it this year.

Problem is that the older you get, the less you want or need!!

It is difficult to buy for some people and I feel I'm included within that group. I prefer if someone tells me what they want but that does spoil it a little x
