Iv been a free lancer for a few years now and last summer I did some work for a company in London who still owe me a few thousand pounds. The last I heard the company had been sold and went bust. How would I go about reclaiming my money back? Its so hard being self employed

Hi,

I am sorry but I have no idea what you can do.

Hopefully one of the professionals will be able to give you some advice.

If the company was a limited company you would need to contact either the Administrator or Liquidator dealing with the case now. If the firm was a sole trader, then do a search on the insolvency register to see if you can find out which Insolvency Practitioner is dealing with the matter and contact them accordingly.
